The mother of all the beautiful Victorian scale scales once used in market stores across the angleterre at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. Class b scale for weighing objects up to 15 pounds. There is a stamp with the manufacturer's brand that is difficult to make, but seems to be in an oval model.
Top ornamental harp design, taped brass post with base of animal legs in cast iron. The original ceramic plate did not survive 100 years and more, we replaced the missing plate with a beautiful slate plate. Original red and aged white paint with the beautiful overall patina. Due to the replacement of the original plate, the balance is not balanced without the addition of correctly weighted objects. We found the use of decorative stones useful during the staging.
