They were originally used for foie gras, but would be ideal for serving canned, butter, chutney or pickles. They look so good that they just make fabulous unique décor. They are cream/ivory in color and they all have a lion's head for a handle on each side, with the exception of the larger pot which has conventional tureen handles as the load would have been heavier.They are in ancient condition, some have small spots or a few small tokens or snacks, we have some hair and we have some sort of cut in the side of the pot, please see the pictures for more details as I tried to capture everything that is noted there. The two largest pots are from the prestigious manufacturer 'sarreguemines', the second smallest pot is from another prestigious manufacturer - luneville and the last is a 'simplex'.
They all have lids outside the second smallest jar of moonville. These pots are really special, but please bare in mind, they are not quite perfect.
