A fine example of an early copper cauldron with dovetail seams and wrought iron handle with a ring on the top to hang if desired. An early arond tail construction seam mounts vertically on one side and another seam on the neck of the pot. The forged iron handle is riveted with 2 rivets on each side. Skating on the bottom, bumps and cuttings. Measured 9 inches high, with handle measures 19 inches and is 6 1/2 inches wide.
Beautiful room for fireplace, kitchen or outdoor use. Could be cleaned to be shiny.
