Antique 'trottier Paris Fnt' Numbered '10' Copper Jelly Or Cake Mould C.1800
A rare and magnificent example of a copper mould stamped'trottier paris fnt' numbered'10' from c. Trottier was one of the leading French manufacturers of copper kitchen utensils in the 19th century and provided an entire kitchen battery for st james's London palace. Very collectible, this copper jelly mold heavily calibrated with a castel design with a central hole is in excellent general condition and in great shape given its age. Measured about 11 cm in diameter, (note: the base is slightly distorted - see photo) and about. A rare and fine example of an antique jelly/cake mould that would look incredible displayed in a kitchen either mounted on the wall or sitting on a dresser.
