Bourbon Barrel Top Lazy Susan, Lazy Susan

  
This lazy susan is made from a real bourbon drum tray. It was dried, cleaned and sealed. I'm through every top of three layers of semi-gloss lacquer. There is a stamp on each top that is original from the distillery. These summits have about 21 inches in diameter and about 21/2 inches in height. I add a piece of plywood to the back of the top to keep it together and a piece on which the lazy susan mechanism can sit. The backs are painted in black so that they melt and are not so remarkable. I also add felt pads to make sure they don't harm anything they're sitting on. If you want something personalized engraved in one of my tops, please send me a message.

Not all trays are identical. Some tops are darker or lighter than the ones in the photos. There may be cracks between boards and they may not be perfectly flat. This happens when the peaks dry after years of dipping with bourbon.
