Bourbon Drum Engraved Lazy Susan, Platter Or Wall Art

  
This one is an honor to do. The Horse Soldier brand is made by our veterans. I'm going to donate part of the sales of these summits to a charity worthy of a veteran. This is made from a real bourbon drum tray.

It was dried, cleaned and sealed. I'm going to coat this top with three layers of semi-gloss lacquer. These peaks have about 22 inches in diameter and about 21/2 inches in height. I add a piece of black plywood to the back of the top to keep it together.

The black helps to hide the back, the unpainted plywood shows when you look at a lazy susan on the side. I want you to see your beautiful high not a ugly plywood. I don't know why all the people who make them don't paint their plywood. The tray will have leather handles, the wall art will be delivered with hanging material attached to the back. The lazy susan is sitting on a piece of high-quality black plywood that I paint in black for it to melt. I also add felt pads to make sure they don't harm anything they're sitting on. I think I'm making the best tops on the market. I take more time to make sure that they have a good finish and that they are sanded enough to remove the rough edges and sharp edges. But not so much to remove the rustic charm. If you want something personalized engraved in one of my tops, please send me a message. Not all trays are identical. Some tops are darker or lighter than the ones in the photos.

There may be cracks between boards and they may not be perfectly flat. This happens when the peaks dry after years of dipping with bourbon.
