This original art work of linda paul was entirely handmade with a shell of natural blue paua and paint on the back of bevelled glass. It is protected at the back by a 1/8 panel (see side view photo) you can install it directly in a backsplash between other tiles or frame it and hang it directly to the wall anywhere in your home, even behind your stove. Because the front is glass and the artwork is behind it, it's super easy to clean. The paua shell is surprisingly iridescent and changes color from pink to green through blue depending on the light. You have to see him in person to be really appreciated.
Inspiration of the artist: I love shells where I travel, I always recover them. The iridescence of the paua shell is captivating. I also like the solidarity symbolism of the fleur de lis, so I have combined these two loves in these original glass art tiles. The work is created in my colorado studio. All items are packed incredibly well and it is my responsibility to get it to you safely.
I am a painter, sculptor in bas-relief and tile. I have thousands of ecstatic customers around the world who bought my canvas prints, wall paintings of kitchen backsplash tiles and original bas-relief and egg tempera paintings. My customers are owners, builders, decorators, restaurants and interior designers. I guarantee you everything that comes out of my art studio. If you are not completely delighted with your purchase, just return it within 15 days for a full refund.1/4 thick tile - these hand-made glass tiles are installed between other tiles: the glass itself is 3/16 thick in the center and 1/8 on the edges (because of the bevel). I add a 1/8 board to the back so that the whole piece is 1/4 thick and can be installed between your other tiles. The tiles just settle down like the regular tile.
Here's a recent review of a client who bought another glass artwork from me. The glass of art arrived today and it is even more beautiful than I expected. We are so happy with art.It gives interest and concentration to the tile backsplash above the stove. The colours of the art are beautiful and the room creates the illusion of being illuminated from the inside. It has been a pleasure to do business with you and I will definitely recommend your company strongly. Kathy rooney, new york state.
