These products are made from real wood from a mill. This wood is not purchased at your large box home improvement store.

If you are looking for a sanded plywood board with vinyl lettering and design, this is not the product for you. This product is made from walnut alder wood directly from the mill, with all the character and imperfections that come with real wood and is handmade to fit a standard size cooker.

It is then engraved with a laser engraving machine to permanently burn the design into the wood in black only. This product is 29.5 " by 21.5 " and includes the design listed in the image. About our choice of wood: knotty alder is known for having nuds and imperfections such as cracks and dark veins in the wood. This adds to the character and uniqueness of our products.

As these items are made by hand, larger holes, cracks, etc. Who can interfere with the engraving are filled and repaired at my discretion. In order not to remove the beauty of the wood. About our process: each product is made in my shop and starts by being cut to size, each tip is joined, planned, and sanded by hand by me.

Once assembled, each noodle board is cut by water with a router and inspected to detect the major imperfections that interfere with the engraving. Once the imperfections are repaired, we start the coloring process. We use a wood conditioner on all our wood before straining it with one of our oil-based minwax stains. Once stained, we then begin the process of design and engraving. Most of our designs are prepared by me and approved by the client before the engraving (if approval is requested). We then use a special color filling process that makes our engraving darker and offers a greater contrast to allow the image to truly stand out against the wood grains.

Our final step in our process is to use an oil-based sealant to protect the wood and highlight the resulting wood grains in a beautiful finished product. This product is not safe in food quality and should not be used as a cutting board. Recommended for decorative purposes only.

Make sure the stove is cold to the touch, before putting it on the top of the stove. We are not responsible for any damage that may result from the misuse of the noodle board. The bottom side of the boards is not stained due to the nature of the oil stain being flammable.
