These products are made from real wood from a mill. This wood is not purchased at your large box home improvement store. If you're looking for a sanded plywood board with vinyl lettering and design, this is not the product for you. This product is made from gnarled antlers directly from the mill, with all the character and imperfections that come with real wood and is handcrafted to fit a standard sized stove.

It is then engraved with a laser engraving machine to permanently engrave the design in black wood only. This product is 29.5\" by 21.5\" and includes the design listed in the image. About our choice of wood: knotty alder is known to have nuds and imperfections such as cracks and dark veins in the wood.

This adds to the character and uniqueness of our products. As these items are handmade, larger holes, cracks, etc. Who can interfere with the engraving are filled and repaired at my discretion.

So as not to remove the beauty of the wood. About our process: each product is made in my shop and starts by being cut to the size, each board is joined, planned, and hand-sanded by me. Once assembled, each board of noodles is cut into water with a router and inspected for large imperfections that interfere with engraving. Once the imperfections are repaired, we process the coloring process. We use a wood conditioner all over our wood before straining it with one of our minwax oil-based stains.

Once stained, we then begin the process of design and engraving. Most of our designs are designed by myself and approved by the customer before engraving (if approval is requested).

We then use a special color filling process that makes our engraving darker and offers greater contrast to allow the image to really stand out from the wood grains. Our final step in our process is to use an oil-based sealant to protect the wood and highlight the wood grains resulting in a beautiful finished product. This product is not safe from food quality and should not be used as a cutting board. Recommended for decorative purposes only. Make sure the stove is cold to the touch, before putting it on top of the stove.

We are not responsible for any damage that could result from the misuse of the noodle board. The lower side of the boards are not stained due to the nature of the oil-based stain being flammable.
