Very impressive Italian brass scales dating from the early 1940s. This very decorative scale has a beautiful heavy octagonal base with a scrolling arm balancing the numbered engraved beam.
It is marked on the end piece of the md cv balance bar. Weighed with a suspended weight, the counter scale moves back and forth on the beam, weighing the contents in the suspended brass pan. The scale can weigh up to about 2.5 kg. Perfect as a decorative element for the rustic window or perhaps store, would bring a classic touch to any interior.
