This thin grain maple butcher block cutting board is an eye-catching piece of art for your kitchen but durable enough for daily use. Each board is made from carefully selected wood from maples harvested from local durable fawns in order to ensure a unique end product, visually interesting and structurally solid.

Our boards are conditioned by mineral oil and are ready to be used as soon as you receive them. The final grain cutting boards are very durable and are suitable for many years of use. The final grain is preferable for knives that remain sharp much longer than the long-grained wood cutting boards. The recessed finger holds are routers in each end of the board to facilitate lifting. We offer simple engravings for all our boards. Please contact us and we will set up a custom order with your engraving on it. It is the perfect gift for Christmas season / parties, hostess gift, birthday, wedding, birthday, retirement, Father's Day, Mother's Day or simply as a thank you gift. All boards use an environmentally friendly process. The logs come from tree growers, who only remove trees that have to fall (not cut for profit).

The logs are then crushed in wood and dried at the appropriate moisture level under our careful supervision. Then I select the top-of-the-range lumber from our stock and turn it into a final product. All our boards of directors are unique. As a warning, we must emphasize that no piece of wood is exactly the same. There may be slight variations in the colour of the wood.

All boards are ready for use on delivery. I strongly recommend using cutting board wax to protect the wooden board for years to come. The wooden boards will eventually dry and start cracking and chipping.
