This real wood, hand painted sand dollar lazy turntable can be made in your choice of sizes from 14 to 20 inches. I cut the shape of the maple plywood sand dollar with a jig saw. I then have the sand, premium, paint the design and add the ball bearing swivel. An additional half-inch piece of plywood is added to the bottom to hide the swivel metal ball bearing and give the lazy susan a professional and finished look. All the pieces are cut by hand, so that the room will have a handmade fact feel to it.
Felt bumpers are applied at the bottom of each lazy susan to protect your table. Being that each is made individually, there will never be two exactly the same. I'm working to make him look as much like the original as possible. The metal, swivel ball bearing I use are manufactured in the United States and can carry up to 500 pounds. Just use mild soap and a damp cloth.Buff to shine with a soft towel. I end each epoxy resin lazy sweat in two parts to create a glass like the finish. You can see in the photo above, the reflection of the trees and the spicy sauce. Most people are surprised when they find out they're made from wood. Ceramic or glass is everyone's first assumption.
