An authentic hand-painted Michel Caugant terrine, in the shape of a Guinea fowl.The bottom of the terrine features the following phrase in French: "This piece of genuine faience was entirely handmade. I offer it to you exclusively." Caugant was a luxury terrine and pâté manufacturer in Brittany during the 1930s. His son, Michel, created these animal-shaped terrines to enhance the Caugant pâtés. These terrines have become true collector's items.
