Can I use for this for a stove with burners or flat top only both. Burners - the lid will just sit on top of the burners.

Flat top - it sits on the stove directly. You can now add on the shelf to the caisse. External measurements 32 x 12 1/4 x 51/2. It is a decorative shelf for small objects such as spices. It will not contain heavy items.
